The first session deals with the costs of long term care. Thomas LaChance has resided in VT since 1954. He graduated from St. Michael’s College in 1974 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He has firsthand knowledge of the potentially significant impact long term care can have on an individual or their family. Tom will talk about trends in long term care, what different alternatives cost, and how families can manage.
“My mission is to help educate as well as protect consumers from the potentially significant financial and psychological costs of needing long-term care,” says LaChance. “It is my goal to help families and individuals make well-informed choices when it comes to protecting their financial future.”
As a provider of Long Term Care solutions, Tom works in a caring and supportive way to provide advice to individuals looking to help protect their assets and maintain their financial independence and dignity.
The Topics in Aging series is sponsored and hosted by Northeast Kingdom Homecare, Inc., a provider of in-home care services and The Meeting Place adult day service. For more information, contact NEKHC at 802-334-7604.
