St Patrick’s Day at The Meeting Place
Monday March 17th was party day at The Meeting Place. The morning activities included dressing for the celebration. Everyone put on their shamrock necklaces, fluffy green hats and leprechaun pins.
All were busy making 3D leprechaun houses or cutting out green shamrock chocolate chip cookies before being served lunch.
The Irish stew and soda bread was followed by a dessert of strawberry shortcake with green whipped cream.
The Bobbin Mill Players visited in the afternoon to play some old time favorites for everyone. People were busy singing along with the music, clapping their hands, and tapping their toes.
Our very own John Warner was showing off his fancy footwork as he danced away the afternoon with a few of his friends and some of the staff. Everyone is still talking about the festivities of the day.
