It's about caring...
Our parents provided us with a foundation, supporting us through our youth and encouraging us to fulfill our dreams. They never imagined or wanted to become a burden on us.
Now, as they age, we find ourselves wanting to return their many gifts, helping them remain independent, helping them remain in their own homes or with family. But caregiving is hard work, and even the most dedicated and loving caregiver needs help.
That's what Northeast Kingdom Homecare is all about - helping you with our in-home care and adult day programs to provide just the amount of companionship and assistance your parents want and need.
It really is about caring, and we want to help.
It's about choices...
Debra Hunt, President, NEKHC
We know that home has a special meaning for our parents. It's about memories and family and friends and comfort. We support the choice to stay home by providing opportunies for care and companionship during the day or round-the-clock. The Meeting Place is an active site where seniors can be cared for, eat nutritious meals, and be among friends.

Northeast Kingdom Homecare, Inc. was founded in January, 2004. It's mission is to provide choices in care that will allow senior citizens to stay at home. This mission is consistant with Vermont's Choices for Care initiatives which foster such alternatives. We believe our first responsibility is to those seniors who have entrusted themselves to us, and we will work each and every day to earn that trust.
